Canadian Chapter Insurance Updates

Attention Canadian Members:

Parents Without Partners Executive Board had a meeting January 6, 2014, and one topic that was discussed was the insurance for the chapters located in Canada.

The insurance policy we had covering the chapters had a substantial increase so we had to find another policy. After months working with Mesirow Insurance company, we were able to obtain a Travel Accident policy through Gerber Life, however, they do not insure Canada. Several people are looking into finding a policy for the chapters located in Canada. Please be patient, as it took months to find coverage for the US chapters but we are hoping to find a Canadian policy faster.

The Canadian members of Parents Without Partners need to know we are trying hard to get a policy. We ask that you DO NOT discourage them from joining or staying a part of Parents Without Partners.
