The annual Candlelight Tradition is the unofficial start to Frankfort's holiday season and a beloved tradition for all generations. From carriage rides to hot chocolate, from visits with Santa to a cocktail stroll, this four day festival, named one of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association's "Top Ten Fall2012 Events & Festivals," offers something for young and old. Make plans to join us for this time-honored tradition and illuminate your holiday season with Candlelight!

Family Friendly Fun Night -
- Santa at the Lancaster, 6:30 - 8:00 pm (310 Wapping St)
- Horse Carriage Rides, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Leaving from Ann St
American Red Cross: Open for blood collections, 8:30 am - 2:00 pm. Kick off the holiday season by saving a life!
Church of the Ascension: CHILI SUPPER, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Eat, rest and warm up in the parish hall. This popular annual fundraiser for the Ascension's Men's Club offers hearty chili to please everyone - hot or mild, meaty or vegetarian - along with hot dogs, drinks and homemade desserts. First Baptist Church: at 201 St. Clair. Petty zoo and Live nativity, 5:30 - 8:00 pm
First Christian Church: Bean Soup Supper, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with any donations going to the United Way. Silent Auction items to benefit Relay for Life.
Kentucky Harvest House: Pictures with Frosty at 329 St. Clair, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
The Lancaster: Santa and local school choirs.
Old Governor's Mansion: Open for tours! (First floor only) 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Enjoy a little bit of Kentucky history and a lot of Christmas beauty!
